Application of nitrogen fertilizers to reach high crop production is common practice. However, this has a environmental cost, irrespectively the synthetic or organic origin fertilizer. In particular, intensively managed arable soils often fail retain excess nitrogen, which leads contamination ground- and surface water. Next abiotic factors like soil texture, limited retention ascribed low activity saprotrophic fungi. It been shown that amendment with cellulose-rich materials can effectively stimulate resident The current study investigated relationship between fungal dynamics (biomass, composition) immobilization-remobilization upon woody materials.
